Homeschooled high school students and their families look for the same qualities in a college that benefit them in their homeschool environment.

• Christian perspective

• Caring instructors

• Excellent academics

• Experiential learning

• Lifelong friendships

• Service and stewardship

Christian faith and values integrated into quality academics taught in a supportive environment of faculty mentorship and student fellowship—this is what young people will find as they graduate homeschool and enter Trinity Christian College.

These are the same benefits other homeschooled students have discovered at Trinity…

Collette LeMahieu ’11
The greatest advantage of enrolling at Trinity is the fact that it is a Christian college. Many people homeschool their children, because they are very firm believers in Christian education. I think one of the most important things after graduating high school is to continue that Christian education at a school that will nurture you, where you will be able to find other students who are like minded and professors who teach from a Christian perspective.

Richard Lundskow ’10
The most rewarding aspect of being at Trinity is the people I meet on a day-to-day basis. My goal for the end of freshman year was to meet 100 people with whom I could carry on a casual conversation. By February, I had already achieved that goal. Trinity is a community where it is easy to get to know new people.

Kimberly VerHagen ’10
My Trinity experience has been great. I have met a lot of great people here, and I had no trouble succeeding in my classes. I think that Trinity and the professors I have had accommodate homeschool graduates and all students well.

Lindsay Anderson ’08
Due to the small size of the College, I think most everyone feels welcome at Trinity. The professors obviously care about students on an individual level, and that definitely helped my transition from homeschooling to college. They are incredibly caring and want students to excel. Trinity is a small school, but it functions with a global perspective. I was able to gain a global perspective on social justice, poverty, and other issues. This awareness has continued to build on the principles that were instilled in me through my homeschool education.

More about Trinity Christian College…

Trinity Christian College offers more than 30 majors and has a current enrollment of more than 1,300 students. Caring professors—most with doctorates—develop mentoring relationships with their students and integrate a Christian worldview into every program of study.

Trinity’s 60-acre wooded campus in Palos Heights, Illinois, is just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, which provides cultural activities and experiential learning opportunities such as internships and the Chicago Semester. Service learning and study abroad opportunities locally and internationally expand education outside the classroom.
